an American percussionist, chamber musician, and educator based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a vibrant contemporary percussionist, Hunter has joined the stage and collaborated with some of the top new music ensembles internationally; most recently in a showcase performance at the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) with the Heartland Marimba Ensemble . Hunter continues to push the boundaries of classical percussion through his ongoing collaboration and consortium projects with esteemed Contemporary composers namely Molly Joyce, Steven Snowden, and Brian Mark. Hunter has been selected for the 2023 world percussion group.
