From his first harmonica at age five to his current role with the acclaimed Heartland Marimba Quartet, Hunter Gross has built a vibrant career as a percussionist, chamber musician, and educator.
Based in Denton while pursuing his DMA at the University of North Texas, Hunter's performances have taken him across four continents, including recent appearances at the 2024 Percussive Arts Society International Convention.
His passion for expanding the percussion repertoire drives his collaborations with contemporary composers, while his teaching philosophy nurtures students' complete musical development.
When not making music, Hunter enjoys a round of golf and time with family and his dog, Ozzy.
